The Tula Kremlin built in the XVIth century has the strictly right-angled ground plan with 10-meter high wall and 9 four-tiered towers. Along the walls at a height of 6.5 meters is the "combat course" - a platform from which to reflect enemy defenders of the city. The length of the walls is 1066.5 meters
