Silver Yefimok of Tsar Alexey Mikhailovich, 1655.
The Western silver thaler became current
in the form of a yefimok with Russian
countermark and date.
These yefimki were
used as money payment to the troops.
Here
is the thaler of Cosmo II, Grand Duke of
Tuscany.
